In regards to Shannahan not being successful,.
He has always put out a very competitive team , just because he isn\'t consistently winning the Super Bowl doesn\'t mean that Elway made him look better than he is. Consider the present. He has the 5th ranked offense and the 5th ranked defense. Shannahan is very profesional, poised, and has an eye for talent. If he left Denver or is let go, he would be an excellent pick up for our team. |

What about Willingham? He has been mentioned alot as a possible candidate for the 49ers job if Erickson was fired or took another coaching position. Some writers have said he would make a good NFL coach, I don\'t know what they see, just food for thought.
