Saints' Brees, Bailey back on practice field
 

METAIRIE, La. -- The New Orleans Saints welcomed quarterback Drew Brees and cornerback Champ Bailey back to practice this week after both missed about a week-and-a-half of training camp work.

Both players, however, are unlikely to play in the Saints' second exhibition game against the Tennessee Titans on Friday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

I know I don't need to see much at all from Bailey in the preseason. If he's healthy then he can help us somehow. QBs and WRs do need time to get in sync. I'd like to see Brees and Cooks have some hookups in the preseason .

I suspect we'll see both in the 3rd game. Brees is throwing on the sidelines to Stills, probably for the very reason you stated.
