He's not going to want to just go anywhere anyway. He would want to go somewhere to get a ring and probably play at the minimum.
You and I may not know what he would cost or what he could do but Loomis does.

I'd rather throw league minimum at a young project than 80% of a 10 year vet.

Agreed, but if you are in week 12 and you need someone to come in and make an impact, someone like Greer (or Mackenzie and Bellamy in the past) would be a better short term option.
Of course, when all of our "projects"- Sweeting, SJB, White, etal pan out, we won't have have that problem :}

Re: Greer

His hurdler abilities served him well as he could turn his hips and go with the best receivers.
Also allowed him to make plays on the ball even with a 5' 11" frame.
All went south when the injury bug bit him.
Too much run support will cut many a DB career short.
They are just not built for all that banging.
I believe he could step in if called upon, because he's a playa!
We would have to use that high mileage stuff and drive him gingerly.

Re: Greer

Truthfully that is my biggest scare right now, our second CB spot. I mean I hope Champ can get er done, but I have my doubts, and Corey White is not a shut down corner.

I think Greer is done, for good. I am really hoping Robinson can get healthy
