Apparantly Brees has looked less than stellar

To hear Bobby and Deke tell it yesterday Brees didn't look like an elite QB, just a pro bowl QB yesterday. He said today he didn't even look like a pro bowl QB.
Has anyone been to practice to witness this? I feel like if it was a matter of timing they would have mentioned something. Wonder if he is still hurting. Maybe the D is just that good. Seems to me I remember the offense always looking a step behind the Defense once camp gets into full swing. Don't like hearing that he isn't looking so hot.

If you listen to Bobby and Deke, you deserve whatever you get.

I heard from Boudreau and Bocephus that Brees was in danger of being cut. Looks like we have a new quartyback this here season. Woohaa!

Geez; this is Drew we are talking about... Can we worry about something worth worrying about?

They have been contradicting reports from each other all camp

The only people I'd trust is the Nola.com people who do live updates watching camp

Bobby and deke have been mixing up reports all camp

Who is he throwing to? Other than Colston or Meachem, our WRs don't know their own timing much less Drew having it down pat yet.

We are starting the third week of preseason, most of our WR have spent some time on the side, so has Drew...

Timing takes ... Time, and I am not really interested in peaking during preseason.

I watched most of the practise yesterday and he looked fine to me! Passing was crisp and on target in the drills I watched!

I read tweets from just about everyone covering the practices and not one mentioned that Drew looked bad. I would think if he looked bad at least someone would have mentioned it.

Maybe they meant he looked kinda rusty in his 1st practices after a 2 week absence, which is to be expected.

I don't think we have anything to worry about with Drew. We do have a few concerns, but Drew isn't one of them.

Opening with the Clowns makes this a bit more relevant. He under threw a lot of deep balls last season and this injury gives defenses license to press all game until he can prove he can beat it. Any observations on this from the camp faithful?

Tweeters mentioned he threw a beautiful deep ball in his 1st practice with noticeable velocity and accuracy.

Small sample size I know, but thats all I got.
