Word on Succop was his 5 million contract. He may still want that much. Can we afford a 5 million kicker?

He can want as much as he likes not many teams are looking for kickers. Generally a buyers market.

Finally they may start seeing my view... Get rid of the kickers and the punter... we go for it on every 4th down. Its TD or bust.

Reckon the 2014 Saints will deploy the "Tecmo Bowl" strategy for punting and kicking this year.

I'd rather relive the Morten Andersen feeling of "he'll make it" rather than the "Will he make it?" anxiety of the last few years. I watched Succop kick his whole college career. He's good. Remember Hartley's miss against the Falcons. Was it worth 5 million if he'd made it?
