OK, I see WhoDat isn't the only one who gets labeled player-x hater (cough*Brooks*cough) everytime he criticises a players production or lack of it.

Now, how are you guys putting Stallworth above Brooks? I\'m just curious how you can rate a subpar WR over a QB that has delivered the ball well enough this year.

Sure Brooks does some stuff during the course of the game that would make a blind man say \"What the #*$#*$% was the that?? But Stallworth has been thrown to 96 times with only 51 catches. Even if you allow for passes defended well he has dropped between 30 - 40% of the throws that hit him square in the hands. He needs to become familiar with the term \"Stickum\".

Just my humble opinion though.
Darren

Hey Danno, Deuce is second on your list, but here\'s what you said about him a week ago.

Quote:

Deuce? A derogatory comment about DEUCE?
NEVER EVER EVER speak bad about Deuce, NEVER.
He\'s awesome man.
He\'s the greatest player ever.
He\'s practically a hall-of-famer.
Are you flipping crazy?
Its the other 10 guys fault.
Its that new turf\'s fault.
He\'s a real leader.
He should be coach.
We should give him the biggest contract ever for a RB.
He\'s got heart, he never quits.
He has awesome field vision.

LMAO

NOTE: The above comments are sarcasm. They are directed at those who worship and praise Deuce no matter how many mistakes he makes or how much his play has regressed.

Funny how a week changes things.
Nothings changed at all. The post was a jab at everyone that worships Deuce no matter what. Yet is critical of other players on this team, no matter what.

Whats that got to do with him being one of my favorite players on this team?

I think you are helping to prove my point actually.
You can like a player and still criticize his play.
But look out!!!! If you criticize a player\'s play (even if you like him) you\'re gonna be labeled a hater. If you look at my previous posts critical of Deuces play you\'ll frequently see that I call him one of our best players.
Funny, no one ever quotes that part ever.

I didn\'t say you couldn\'t do that, it was just funny to me that last week anyone who defended Deuce had to get addressed with that post from yourself, but now he is second on your list of faves. I have no problem with someone criticizing a player they like, I just thought that was odd that you would be that sarcastic of other people who felt a lot of things around Deuce helped to contribute to his poor play is all. Not trying to attack you. You have the right to be critical of anyone you want and I respect that. Just confused was all.

No prob here, I\'m a confusing person.
One day last week I actually enjoyed a Coor\'s Light. :o
It actually didn\'t taste like water. Go figure!
But don\'t tell my friends, they\'ll beat the crap outta me.

Congratulations Neugey!!!!!!

Apparently someone has been watching the Saints this year, although you might want to reconsider number 10, the rest is gold. Now can you name the the worst Ten ?

Refer to my above posting for guidance

Glad to see it Deuce and Horn Hater!! :) Fortunately you\'re insulated from the defenders of poor overcriticized multimillionaire underachieving Saints players b/c you haven\'t suggested that AB should be traded away. Wait a minute, you did didn\'t you? For reasons of identity change - watch out Danno, I\'m going to see if I can\'t get the musketeers on you! LOL

I\'ll make my list based on a combo of talent, production, contribution to the team, and comparison overall to other players in the league. This is a list as of right now.

1. Joe Horn - best in the league right now at his position. Top 5 for 5 years.

2. Decue McAllister - bad year, so he probably deserves to be lower, but he\'s the ONLY player on the team with enough talent to legitimately be the best in the league at his position, and he could be a hall of famer is he stays healthy and gets some help.

3. Charles Grant - he was good last year, he\'s breaking out this year.

4. LeCharles Bentley - Another guy who is having a bad year in his transition to center. Regadless, he will be a Pro Bowler in years to come at any interior line spot where they choose to play him.

5. Mike Karney - This might be high for a fullback, and the guy isn\'t overly talented, but he lays the lumber, does everything he\'s asked, shows up every week, and I haven\'t seen him make a mistake yet.

6. Will Smith - this guy is going to be a Pro Bowler for us. A good pick considering the Howard situation and the players left on the board.

7. Mike McKenzie / Brian Young - these guys tie for different reasons. McKenzie is overly talented and if he can just get his head in the right place (that\'s a big if) he can be as close to a shutdown corner as there is in the NFL today. Young is undersized with maybe the biggest heart on the team. He has started to really make an impact in the last few weeks, and I\'d love to see what he can do with a productive NT next to him.

8. Aaron Brooks / Darren Howard - Brooks is blessed with talent and cursed with the brain of a hampster and leadership of a used car salesman (Benson must love him). I think it was either Gator or BMG who aptly called him the current Jeff George of the NFL - big arm, big numbers, little brain, little success for his team. Howard has even more talent but he simply cannot stay healthy. I though he would finally return to form this year, but alas, more injuries. He\'s the Baron Davis of the Saints. He\'s great for the 15% or 20% of the season when he\'s actually playing.

9. Donte Stallworth / Jerome Pathon - C\'mon Donte... you can be a star... nuff said. Pathon is simply a gamer with a winning spirit.

10. Courtney Watson / Fahkir Brown - I have high hopes for both. Courtney may turn out to really me something special.

1.Deuce McAllister

(Favorite all-time Saint. I swear to God that if Loomis loses him, I\'ll drive all the way to his house from Texas just to cover it in eggs.)

2.Charles Grant

(kept his motor running when everyone else gave up)

3.Joe Horn

(if every Saint did their job like Hollywood does, then we would have a playoff chance)

4.John Carney

(great consistency this year)

5.Jay Bellamy

(the best of a bad secondary)

6.LeCharles Bentley

(only as a guard, he\'s a dog at center)

7.Jerome Pathon

(consistent)

8.Courtney Watson

(hope for future)

9.Will Smith

(more hope for future)

10.Mel Mitchell

(great special teams player, need to get him more involved)

I can\'t get to 10

1. Charles Grant -- such a great surprise this year.
2. Joe Horn -- predictably excellent.
3. Jay Bellamy -- playing smarter than the rest of the secondary combined
4. John Carney
5. Mitch Berger
6. Donte Stallworth -- he plays every game and plays hurt, more of an honorable mention pick, but the kid may just be growing up.
