Nice thoughts, though I don\'t necessarily agree. But for the sake of conversation:

1) I\'d agree with finding a way to move up for Derrick Johnson, but there\'s so much hype surrounding him now that I wonder if even he\'s worth it (goodness knows we\'re not the only fans talking about him, and a guy on NFL Network\'s \"College Football Saturday\" named him the best overall player in the draft). A 1st and 3rd might be a little much when there are other good LB\'s out there. We\'ve got so many holes to fill, we might be better off keeping those picks (assuming we\'ll use them properly, for once!).

2) I\'m not sure franchising Howard again is in our best interest. Will Smith has developed nicely and should be able to take over at the other DE spot opposite Grant. It\'s doubtful another team would spend franchise money on Howard, given his injuries, so we might have trouble dealing him. I think we should let Howard go, deal Aaron Brooks, and use the money saved to pick up someone like Jon Kitna, Trent Dilfer, or Kurt Warner. This should also free up a little extra cap room for free agency.

3) Sign Peter Boulware. I can\'t disagree with that, but I wouldn\'t overpay, as we\'re not sure if he\'s kicked the injury bug yet. If we can get him at the right price, however, he might be a nice pickup.

4) Orlando Pace is, without argument, one of the most outstanding LT\'s in modern NFL history. That being said, he\'s getting a little long in the tooth, is famously lazier with age, and would cost us a phenomenal amount of cash. Again, sign him for the right price, but don\'t overpay.

5) Yes, we all want Bentley back at OG. God, how stupid were we to let Fontenot go? Especially when he wasn\'t even demanding that much money!

As for good FA sites, I\'ve had trouble there, too. I want the info, but I\'ll be damned if I\'ll pay for it! profootballtalk.com isn\'t a bad one, though...
