Let's clear the air!!!!!!
Noone may wanna do this but me but i'll put myself out there. There is a lot of talk about agendas on here again and I was wondering if everyone would be willing to put out there what they want to happen with the team free of criticism in this one thread. Call it each person's "agenda" is you like. Here's mine:

My agenda is:
1. To get rid of the entire coaching staff, Haslett included.
2. To have Benson hire an NFL quality GM.
3. To pursue Saban or Crennel as a head coach and give them final say over personnel if no NFL quality GM can be found.
4. To have Brooks traded, take a pay cut, or be challenged for the starting job. Traded would be my first choice.
5. To stop showing up here and there, lose out, and get an impact player in the draft. Denny Green is doing it, Tom Coughlin is doing it, why can't we?
6. To have this team actually pursue needs in free agency and spend a little green to get the players to come here.
7. To have a better feeling about the start of the season next year than I did this year.
8. And to have Deuce be the focus of the offense next year like he should have remained this year.

Anyone else brave enough to list their "agenda"?

Whodi, was there a need to clear the air? I thought things have been going pretty well.

Instead of stating agendas, or uncovering them, or whatever, why don\'t people just make their point, back it up, don\'t take it personally (maybe we can all learn something now and then?), and then clap on a monkey, smiley, or pink elephant and go home.

The only other thing I\'d add, which most people seem to have trouble with, is this: let it go. No one, and I mean no one, but the person themselves cares about the \"score\" - e.g. how many times they\'ve been right, what they\'ve been right about, etc.

PS -

I agree with 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8. You know my views on the other things, as we have discussed them frequently. So, if you consider that an \"agenda\", then that is mine.

Nice idea, though I fear the \"only agenda, no arguments\" bit may not last half a page! Anyway, I\'m \"brave enough\" to keep with the spirit and ground rules of the post, so here goes...

(By the way, this will sound awfully familiar to those who read another post...)

1) Make a deal to keep the team in New Orleans, already!
2) Keep Haslett, shake up the rest. Goodbye Venturi, McCarthy and Loomis. Hello Singletary, Kubiak, and welcome back Mr. Mueller.
3) Deal Brooks, for whatever we can get. Veteran LB\'s or O-linemen are preferred, but draft picks are nice, too.
4) DO NOT re-sign Howard. Will Smith will be ready to take over next year opposite Grant, and Howard is not worth franchise-player money.
5) Use the money saved from dumping Brooks and Howard to sign Jon Kitna, Trent Dilfer, Kurt Warner, or Jay Fiedler. These guys should come relatively cheap, leaving extra cash for free agents and draft picks.
6) Abandon the \"need for speed\" offense and focus on a rush-oriented, ball control attack (think Steelers). This will take pressure off the O-line and keep the defense rested, as well as suit the talents of our new QB.
7) Draft heavily on the defensive side of the ball. A stud LB with our first pick, a good CB to complement McKenzie next. Keep an eye out for \"value picks,\" and grab a few O-linemen as well.
8) Don\'t overpay any more players until they\'ve PROVEN themselves. No more Sullivan fiascos, please...
9) Sell beer the whole game, dammit! The fourth quarter is usually when the fans need one the most!
10) Accept the fact that these changes will take time to implement, but show us enough potential to believe this is going somewhere. We\'re Saints fans, so God knows we\'re patient, but don\'t jerk us around anymore.

I agree with all but 5. I really don\'t want to get sweeped bye the bucs just yet. The bucs have never sweeped the Saints ever. I hope not now. Anyhow it would be nice to see Brooks break the Saints alltime record for touchdown passes he has 103 right now Manning had 115. I could live without it though. The Saints are not mathematically out of the playoff race. If you didn\'t realise all your wild card teams are pretty much 5-8 except carolina and detroit. The Giants willl lose to Pittsburgh this Sunday. The Rams will lose another game. Detroit could quite possibly lose there next 3. Which means the Saints would only have to win there next 3. Not saying I want this. For the simple fact without a good run defense they won\'t go far, I just thought I would put out the scenario. Anyhow see yea.

Let's clear the air!!!!!!
1)Slap Blanco around a little bit
2)Dump coaching staff
3)Kubiak as OCoordinator
4)Possibly Pease at DCoordinator (possibly, don\'t jump on me)
5)Drew Brees would be a nice addition, though costly
6)Byebye Brooks
7)Welcome back Deuce
8)Villify the word \"agenda\"
