I lived through most of it, almost all of it, and I don't understand the nostalgia for it, never have, never will; but if that's how some people feel, that's how they feel....there have been cases where dudes who lived under a bridge in shabby cardboard boxes, have been given fabulous new housing, their own apartment or house, but they soon go back to living in the cardboard refrigerator box...because that's where their heads are at, and where they're comfortable, I guess.

Remembering the bad years/teams is what separates WhoDat Nation from the failclowns and the rest of the NFL.

We will stink on opening week this year too. After we beat them it's gonna take one hell of a shower to get that dead dirty birds smell off our players.

you have to know from where you came from to appreciate were you are if you are lucky.

IMO saints fans have come complacent about winning. 12th man aint what it use to be. in the past no out door stadium could come close to the dome even during the bad years. now we are nothing more than an honorable mention. Top 10 even top 5 does not cut it. an out door stadium louder than a dome. fans should be ashamed of themselves.

last game i went to i felt out place in the end zone for standing and yelling in end zone seating. much less trying to get others to stand. screw them all to hell i stood yelled and was a fan of old.

telling you to many fans have too short of memories. wait till the ride comes to end and it will end one day. these are the same fans that will be whining the loudest.

never forget. teach your children well. never be happy and demand more. Shots at a Dynasty are so rare and our window is closing fast. hell for the most part i do think most NFL players care about the term dynasty any more.

This aint politics! This is football. Demand the most from the tax dollars you spend to keep the saints here. be complaisant about voting not football

LMAO really we thought we thought that Fans could will them to win most of the time.

We looked for anything and i mean anything to cheer for. i remember special teams being our baby for a few years. we all understood field position better than any fans in the country, heck I think it was ESPN did a special on the saint fans in ESPN's early years. covering that same topic. may have been CBS i can not remember

granted we could not stop them most of the time we took comfort in the fact they had the length of the field to to score. :rolleyes:

those were the days :bugeyes::bng:
