This is just something I was thinking about sitting here. I wonder if we could Draft Rolle if we can't get DJ or the best CB with our 2nd (Carlos Rodgers) move T-buck over the SS and move Fahkir Brown back to FS. He hits hard he is good in coverage he plays the run well. All he would need to do is put on about 10lbs that would solve our S and CB positions.

I need to defer to others that were at the Cowboys game, and I meant to bring this up sooner, but, doesn\'t it seem like the scheme we\'re running leaves T-Buck isolated ALOT? Seemed like everytime I looked, he was covering most of the backfield all by his lonesome.

Yeah I would say that we do leave him out there playing center field alot. But he still misses plays when he comes up and tries to lay people out. Thats why I say we move him to SS so that it takes some of the burden of trying to cover for Jay\'s weakness in coverage. Then we put Fahkir back there and lets them two play the S spots. Fahkir doesn\'t miss many tackles and he lays a good lick on the ball carrier. Then we would have 2 S running around that would give receivers alligator arms when trying to catch the ball on those little slants because they would hea those foot steps coming

The idea of putting Brown at safety is appealing, but you still have Mel Mitchell in the wings. On another note, Jones has stepped up, his tackling is better, his position on the field is better, not perfect, but better. It may be that he is \"getting comfortable\" with the scheme and McKenzie is solid as a CB.
Looking at Brown, he is a hitting machine. I think we could trade Mitchell for draft choices and use Fakir like you projected. Also, Ambrose needs to retire. Great heart, but nowhere near the player he was. There\'s a kid named Montgomery, who was stellar in preseason, he may be the dime guy.
