The condition of the def line is terrible. The players that were fighting to be on the roster showed more resilient ( Brandon Deaderick, Kasim Edebali, Tyrunn Walker) than starters, beside Galette. Time to look for another Defensive line coach, Bill Johnson look like he is reading the hype instead of preparing his players

Rob Ryan's first 6 games as DC = 5-1 record (up to bye week of 2013)

Since the bye week of 2013, the Saints have gone 7-6.

Rob Ryan's first 6 games of 2013, when he was new, the Saints defense allowed 12.6 ppg, average.

Since the bye week of 2013, the Saints defense have allowed 21.92 points per game.

At least some of those losses involved late defensive collapses (New England, Carolina, and a narrowly avoided collapse against Philadelphia)

Have other teams begun to figure Rob Ryan and the Saints' defense out?

He also sounded complacent in an interview today. Kind of took an "Aww Shucks" approach to it. I don't know a lot about him but he didn't seem to have any fire about him whatsoever.

yes tape is out there. glad to see some one else posted up these stats, thanks. tell ya it was more Spags than Ryan.

now my greatest fear is Ryan slow to react history. he does not have a history of making great 4th quarter adjustments. as we saw in Atalanta. this defense looked so much like the cowboys when Ryan was there. i pray i am wrong. but folding in the fourth has always been his defensive MO.

Everyone should have known people were going to figure out our defense in the offseason. That's why RR needs newer schemes.
