After that hit by Munnerlyn on Drew the whole team seemed to energize.

Munnerlyn was a douche when he played for the Panthers and obviously he is still a douche.

They sure were chummy after the game though. I guess Drew really works at having people "like him" -- even if they are bone crushing pass rushers.

And thank goodness he did, because the offense was stalling out again and about to give the ball back to the vikings who were chipping away at the lead.

They were smiling and shaking hands on the field not even 5 minutes after the hit. These guys are pros, they know how emotion and energy drive these plays. Munnerlyn got amped trying to get the sack, Brees got amped pushing that other dude, back to just playing football minutes later.

Honestly, I don't think it was a foul against Brees or Foles but I gladly accept the flag for Brees. If the referee don't blow the whistle qb's are fair game. If they want to protect qb's to that extent you might as we'll take the pads off them. I want our defense to be aggressive and not worrying bout a flag or fine

I agree entirely! I was happy with the flag because we needed it, but it shouldn't have been a penalty. Brees wasn't down and the whistle hadn't been blown so he was still eligible to be tackled. The "tackle" looked bad, but I don't think there was anything excessive about it.

I think it's all about consistency, akiem Hicks did the exact same thing to Andrew Luck in preseason and got called for it

Refs are trying to be as consistent with the calls as they can, it was a bit excessive, they could have brought him down to the ground without picking him up and slamming him on his neck to be honest.

Drew doesn't seem like the kind of guy who holds a grudge. Way to keep it classy.
