No matter what happens, if we do get in, it is anyone''s game. With TO going down, that brings Philly down to everyone else. Obviously if we are in then we probably have beaten Atlanta. We should have beat them the first time. So I think all teams are equall now in the NFC. Bottom line: NFC will get their tails whipped in the Super Bowl.

I'll take a playoff bid if we go 7-9, God comes down and everone loses twice, my momma mkaes neutria and roach gumbo for Christmas, and I have to wear high heels to the game on Sunday.

I agree, I\'d love to get in the playoffs. This has been the most depression season I\'ve seen with the Saints in years.

I think anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday, Philly included with or without TO.

I know everyone, including me, wanted to see a coaching/team overhaul, but we make the playoffs so rarely I\'ll take it anyway I can.

I read in an article (which I can\'t find now), a great perspective from one of the writers.

It seems that there are 2 kinds of Saints fans right now, those who want the playoffs, and those who want to lose out to get a better draft pick/overhaul the staff.

This guy writes that next year, given our street record, minimal coaching changes will be made, a stupid draft pick will be selected, ect, ect. So why not the playoffs this year?? Why not, why wait \"till next year\" for the Saints to falter again anyways. Do you think we\'ll really turn it around for next season?? Hell no, that\'s why everyone should be begging for a playoff berth NOW!!

I agree, I was one who was hoping for a higher pick and cleaning house, but it\'s true, we are the Saints, we probably will screw that pick up, and a coaching change isn\'t likely. So, for now,

WE NEED SOME PLAYOFFS BABY.

As long as Benson doesn\'t turn control over to his grand-daughter there won\'t be any cleaning house anyway AND no new winning attitude trickling down from top to bottom. So, yeah, I\'m definitely hoping they\'ll make the play-offs.
But I would be majorly surprised if this team wouldn\'t find a way to self-destruct in those last two games or maybe just the last one. This just feels like the last years: Come close enough to sniff the last play-off spot and then ...
