We're trying too hard to be balanced!!!!...we have more success doing what we do best PASSING....Defense is different...I know the line isn't as good as last season but we HAVE to get another corner out there...being cheap with these less than average bums ain't helping....White Admitted he rather play the slot corner so why start him...Dixon and SJB got destroyed in the preseason...Asante Samuel and Champ are still free agents we need one of them

Sean Payton has become predictable and it's not even that exciting to watch our offense anymore. How about an occasional designed run for Drew Brees? And the one time, there was an exciting play tonight - i.e. the fake punt - we looked like the Keystone Kops out there.

We really suck so far and we only have ourselves to blame.

I agree, except for the designed run for Brees... He's not that kind of QB, no way do I want our 100 million quarterback taking those intentional risks.

But it seems we run the same runs to the left and the same exact screens. In fact, tonight we ran the same exact screen twice in a row, once to the left and than right after to the right...

I recognized it when it happened, so I know the Cowboys D did(the left to Cadet got 8, but the next one to Cooks went nowhere)...

I don't buy blaming SP...Brees been one of the most consistent QB's in the past 5 seasons....Our weakness has always been the defense..our SUPERBOWL year we had an above average corner (Porter) a shut down corner (Greer) with Sharper roaming freely...Now we have a corner getting picked on every game...and trying to use a run game that's just not working

In know way whatsoever have I been upset with Khiry Robinson but I miss Ingram. He just runs with a mean streak that. As for everything else, I'm waiting till after we have a home stand before I really tear into this team. Were always good for some bad road losses and we still finished 11-5 last year.

We need someone new to call the plays SP is calling them flat and that fake punt was garbage at best. After that play I told my boss we deserve to lose. I think we should turn it over to PC.

It was glaringly obvious that Brees cannot throw the long ball. The largest portion of routes are reliant on him being able to get the ball out of his hands quickly. Yet time and again, we all see him tap dancing in the pocket and waiting. Deep receivers are being under thrown with regularity now and it's not a mistake.

Bottom line: #9's shelf life is at an end. Time to groom the heir apparent to take over.

We finished 11-5 last year because we started 5 and 0.
This year we started 1-3. I'm not trying to poo poo on everyone's parade but not only are the odds against this team making above .500, but the team has no identity or passion whatsoever.

Granted, the NFC South is now the weakest league in the NFC and we could still win and make the playoffs, but considering the basket case team we have, I just don't see it happening.
