That's what I was focusing on, no one in the Division is really walking away with it ... yet ... and there's still time to right the ship. Couple of those losses really hurt me ... seriously ... & I was glad to see you get by Minnesota. But like Detroit, New Orleans' second half schedule is a ball-buster, though SFran ain't lookin' all that impressive & Cutler (CHI) is melting down, as usual,

Still, it's almost like being in an alternate reality watching you guys play so far this year. It'll get better though, hopefully Tampa, the bye week & a road win in Detroit will get your heads on straight.

It's true. Not only did we clear first string personnel to sign Graham who hasn't pulled his weight this season, we also went out and picked up the best free agent money could buy in Byrd. Only problem is we could have kept Malcolm Jenkins for 1-tenth what we are paying Byrd and could have signed two first class free agent d linemen or LB's. The article is true, we have personnel we have for about three years as all these deals are back loaded and guaranteed, so we MUST make these players fit and work whether they fit our scheme or not.

Somebody already said it "Fat Cats" is what the team has become. So they got their big money and now it's time to sit back. This current team has no drive or no compassion or so it seems.

Yeah probably the ones who have played on this team with Sean Payton for years and contributed to the organization at a decent rate, then Graham and Byrd come in with monster contracts and eat up all the money so they can't get help at positions needed to return to the SuperBowl. Good fit or not, winning be damned, we're stuck with some people.

Yea I totally agree and posted something real similar last night except I sort of blamed it all on JG.(unfair of course but). He was very outspoken about disliking the release of Sproles and Vilma. Plus he's still mad at Brees because after Brees signed his huge deal he went on ESPN and campaigned for the Saints to be able to pay JG as a TE. Then he said if we lost Graham because we couldn't sign him, we'd be fine without him.

I only got to watch two partial games and some highlights and somewhat agree, it just didn't look like the Saints I've grown accustomed to since 2011 or so ... remember thinking at one point they looked like they were still in pre-season mode. Whatever it is, I still gotta' think Payton will pull them out of their funk ... at this point,

I gotta' tell you guys (again), this whole situation just smacks of yet another similarity between the Lions/Saints. It's almost identical to the situation Detroit has gotten themselves into with Suh's contract, except they didn't have the premium talent to jettison,

... but it has still tied their hands enough for them to finally realize that they'd probably be better off letting him go & get more value for those contract dollars.
