Packers aim to end Saints' Superdome streak

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — One of Aaron Rodgers' vivid memories of his first season as an NFL starter involves a nationally televised, prime-time contest in the Superdome.

The Saints were just an 8-8 non-playoff team that season, but no one watching — and certainly no one on the Green Bay sideline — would have known it by the way Sean Payton's New Orleans Saints played that night.

The Packers came in with the NFL's third-ranked pass defense and got torched by Drew Brees for 323 yards and four touchdowns in 51-29 Saints victory. Rodgers has played in a lot of road games all over the NFL map since then, but the environment in the Superdome, where he'll play again this Sunday night, still stands out.

IF the Saints lose to the Packers at home...

...IT will come undone...

We owe it to stick it to these bastards after the NFL kept giving them homefield advantage according to their "formulae"...

Have Rodgers on my fantasy football keeper league - so I'm hoping for a shootout whereby the Saints win by having the ball last...

I sure as hell am not counting on the Ryan and his defense to win a game for us...

Rogers and McCarthy have our number.
My expectations are pretty low at this point.

If we had even one decent team in our division, this game would be close to meaningless...
We don't, so it does mean something
9-7 will still get us a home playoff game

I'm afraid I agree. I'm about 49/51 that the the Saints pull it out.

I just cannot see our defense stopping Rodgers and his offense.

I think our offense will have to play mistake free and score in the mid to high 30's to even have a chance.

Rodgers is the hottest QB in the NFL going against the worst defense he'll see all year.

Now if we do win, watch out. I think we'll go on one of our 6 or 7 game win streaks.
