This is absolutely not a Brooks/Delhomme debate

Just when Danno and I WERE talking about Brooks and Delhomme and I said the media says Brooks vs Delhomme I got the, "Brooks doesn't play lb and is he gonna play d against Delhomme" sarcasm. So I just wanted to show you Danno what I was talking about since you acted kinda like you never heard it on ESPN or read about our team anywhere else. From Pete Prisco:

It's his chance to exorcise some of those demons. Delhomme has beaten him three times, including once this year, so the pressure is building.
From this article: http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8050947/2

He is talking about Delhomme, not the Panthers, beating Brooks, not the Saints. Just wanted to give you an example since you acted kinda like you never heard it and so you can know where I was coming from. Cool? I don't want this to be a personal thing, but I just wanted to show you a recent example of how the media pushes head to head match-ups between qbs.

Oh I agree the media may portray it like that, but that doesn\'t mean its the truth.

But I see where you\'re coming from. No prob.

My point was that in the ultimate team sport with 53 guys its pretty shortsighted to claim its a contest between only two players.

Similar to my Marino arguements. I think Marino is the best QB ever, and some say that since he never won a superbowl he can\'t be.

Hostetler and Dilfer won a superbowl (if you subscribe to the medias claim that the QB is the guy who wins or loses it), are they better than Marino? I guess we\'ll see Hoss and Dil in the HOF pretty soon then.

I agree, I was just trying to show you where I was coming from when I said that, and when I said the media plays it that way. It\'s all good. Just an example so we were clear.

By the way, Elway is the best qb ever.

Marino :bigun2: lol
