Winning isn't about talent. Winning is about execution, focus and making good decisions. We aren't doing any of these. Oh, sure, we are occasionally making good decisions. But watching this team, it seems like these core qualities are accidentally exhibited, not consciously.

This team is the Patsy to the Fonz. Always hanging around, never getting the girl, always embarrassing to watch.

8-8 at best, 4-12 or around there is a real possibility looking at the team after today

We can go 7-9 and still make the playoffs.

Season won't be over for a while, but you are right this team is very disappointing.

Like I said before we will lose some home games and win some away games. So far we still control our destiny. Win divisional games and @ CHI or PIT.

Re: It's mental

Harbaugh has a little Payton in him. If the 49ers just hand the ball off to Gore and Hyde, they win easily.

We are 4th and 1 with 7 minutes to go on their 45 or so and we punt?
Granted we stopped them on the next drive but where is Shawn Payton's guts

I agreed with the punt. If we failed to convert it leaves the 49ers only about 15-20 yards to go to kick the winning field goal. Just too risky to potentially put the defense in that kind of spot.
