I don't think anyone here will give the offense a pass. Cincy D flat out came to play today. Our O line was man-handled all day.

But the defense had chances to make plays but instead laid down.

No one said the offense wasn't bad today, but this defense is absolutely horrible. And they've been horrible for most of the season, not just a few games

Re: Should heads roll?

Heads absolutely need to roll! As sad as I am to say it........Payton might be the one that needs to go after watching today's debacle! No urgency, horrid clock management, and a Coach that is supposedly Offensive minded.....let's connect the dots.......

This is a very sad day for a Saints fan!

Defense had many chances to get them off the field on third downs which would have given our offense good field position. What did they do; allow them to systematically move the ball down the field for scores...

He isn't saying the D is good.

The D is completely trash but this offense gas been just almost as bad.

Ryan fault is that the defense let them score on every possession in 1st half and convert 9/13 3rd downs

Re: Should heads roll?

Anyone wondering why the defense is rubbish just needs to look at the cap difference

Total Cap Number: $131,009,963
(Top 51: $123,720,425)
Offense: $69,044,310
Defense: $35,605,070
Special: $4,665,000

The defense cap goes up next year but mostly on one of the worst contracts in the NFL,Juniors 12.5ml roster bonus. Its gaurenteed money too

Re: Should heads roll?

Start TL at center and get some defensive coaches. Does not just fall on the DC, but all the coaches on the defensive side of the ball.

And one stop was a kneel down.

Most of their 3rd down conversions were 3rd and long too.
