Saints should be embarrassed by ugly performance vs. Bengals

I've tried to paint an optimistic picture of the Saints' season all year but there's no amount of lipstick that will dress up this pig. The Saints were awful in every phase and looked flat from the outset. Considering the circumstances, this was an embarrassing performance and deserved the boos Saints fans delivered throughout the second half.

I've done my best to keep it positive. Frankly, there has always been positives to draw, but today??

Our Offense let us down again. Our secondary is hurt. Lewis is HURT. Vacarro had a bad injury last year. Our offense should realize this and know that we have to SCORE points to win a game when all the guys are healthy. When our Secondary is down to fumes our Offense should be in hyper mode to put points on the board. Don't miss the obvious...OUR OFFENSE and $100M QB let us down.

The Bengals just lined up and beat us all game.

Lets give the defense a pass, why don't we

The allowing 9 of 13 third downs, 186 yards rushing given up defense played perfectly...

Come on offense?
What's the point? If you give the ball back to the defense and they convert majority of 3rd downs.... what's the point??

And not just 3rd and short. Several long distance conversions. Just terrible.

13 plays - TD
10 plays- punt
6 plays - Fumble (can we please cut Cadet)

7 series - 10 points. Pitiful performance at home. Yes our Defense is terrible but if our offense puts some points on the board it actually may help our defense.

PT was out
K Robinson was out
Graham has a hurt shoulder
Strief got concussed during the game
Goodwin has been hurt on and off all year
Meachem was out
A Johnson went on IR

Plenty of injuries on the offensive side as well. Can't be used as an excuse.
