neither. Doug was out of his range and wilkins had the chip shot(way to go carney). If anyone the jets coach for attempting the field goal out of his range. the jets defense was doing well enough to punt the ball and try for another turnover. Jets coach gets the blame for the Jets loss.

At this point in the game, the Jets knew they were in the playoffs. They simply wanted to get out of there injury free. I doubt playing an extra period was what they really had in mind.

As stated before it all comes down to having to wait to see if teams will win or lose to see if you get into the playoffs. It is the most suspenceful thing that can happen in the game of sports. Linebackers and corners are in drastic need. No messin around this year linebacker must be the Saints first round pick this year. Than corner should be second. Of course the Saint never do what they should.
