Yeah it means you're in so much pain from a cheap shot you can't react. Has zero to do with being on the field or not. He's a tough SOB just for playing through it.

I will be watching the game as I have since the saints were birthed. I have only missed a hand full of games in my life time. I will be yelling and screaming at the TV like a fool and even throwing things at from time to time. thank Donna for that foam saints brick you gave me years ago. gods knows the TVs i might have wrecked.

I never give up hope and always trying to figure out a way to win it no matter how bad things look. my Pats friends just laugh at me.

Yeah, that's where I'm going when I suggest it's more about physicality than toughness ... I'm pretty sure they're all tough enough, they just got to get a little more "in your face" maybe ... and as far as work-outs go, I'd just stick a finger down my throat & call it day before I attempt one of those, .

I like the Byrd signing but the dollar amount? i would not have done that deal. Jr contract? yes i am on record for questioning both moves. I still do. we were not and are not just one or two pieces away from another super bowl run.

the coaches and the front office need to come down to earth a bit and get the starters some quality backup that are tough enough. then maybe just maybe you will have a player ready to take over for a starter that is ready to hang up the cleats. right now i do not see a single one ready to compete
