If Benson shells out big money for a free agent a la Terrell Owens or Javon Kearse last year, then Im a monkeys uncle.
Better get used to thrifty Benson until he can find a buyer in L.A. to dump our curse on.
It\'s basic economics. Buy low sell high, keep costs down, keep revenue up by giving false hope to the community that a stadium deal will get done. Sell the team when ownership and stadium is in place in L.A.
If this wasn\'t the case Haslett would have been gone last year and we would have done something in FA last year instead of signing bargains Brian Young and Aaron Stecker as our prize free agents.
It\'s time we all resign ourselves to the fact that N.O. will have a team for at most 3-4 more years and if we can\'t win a Superbowl with the talent we have, we will never see one.

By the way Benson\'s pretty new wife looked like the gold digger of gold digger\'s and if you think she doesn\'t have his ear in Hawaii right now and wants all of the money from the sale of the Saints when Benson passes on you are nuts.

Actually she looks pretty proud to be apart of the Saints. I think Benson is going to worry about GM and coaching before anything is done with the ream.
