A couple of INt's at real crucial times stick out in people's minds.
But Drew is as good as the time the O-Line holds up.

He has thrown some bad picks. He has forced too many passes. But it still blows my mind how people are just killing him. There's no other QB in the league I'd want instead.

Re: For the 'fans' blaming the Saints' woes on Drew Brees

I noticed Drew took some sacks against Pittsburgh where earlier in the season I think he may have tried to force something. Sometimes taking a sack and punting is the right play. Of course the D has to then make stops. I've been on Drew's case admittedley, but the way our D was playing, it makes sense why Drew may have been forcing some throws. Let's hope the revitalized pass rush continues to hide our woeful secondary and that PRob continues to hold up. Really he was tested repeatedly against Pittsburgh and was in perfect position repeatedly.

I do love it

here in new england when the pats were losing the same crap was being said. noodle arm and so forth. now he is back to god status.

so take it all with a grain of salt.

fans that get too use to winning are a spoiled and lazy fickle lot.

just look at the decline in the 12 man over the years. only when it is really needed do i put down my weenie and cheer

Meh, fans get frustrated when their team is losing and the quarterback is the most visible target. Still boggles my mind though how some fans will go completely off the reservation in their criticism of a guy with DB's track record, .

I understand, "that pick hurt us" or "he's trying to do too much", but stuff like "trade him", not so much, .

I am glad he is getting a small dose of criticism as he should not be given a pass. There is no denying it. He has at times made bad decisions by forcing balls into areas he should not have. And it is not all on the OL. Some of it? Sure. But not all of it.

He has responded well as we have all come to expect.

Yes Drew has made a couple of mistakes this season but that happens to most quarterbacks throughout the season.

I'm glad we have Drew, there are many other teams out there that wish they had him thats for sure.

Also, he has done exceptionally well considering the performance of our woeful O line!
