2000 season question.

I am trying to remember how that season went regarding early season wins, or a slump. I know Brooks came in after Blake was hurt but I am trying to remember if they started the season hot like the last two years.

I am curious if the injury to Blake may have prevented a late season slide that year because the team was forced to make changes and focus more with a "new, inexperienced" QB. Had Blake not been hurt would the team had suffered a late season losing streak. Were they starting to falter some before Blake was hurt?

I know we'll never know but it does'nt it make you wonder somewhat? Maybe HAZ should revisit the 2000 season for some indications and answers.

2000 season question.

2000 is over with. Not much we can do about that, nor say about it. All we can look toward is the future. Maybe some answers lie in that season, but still, we cannot reflect on what could have happened in the past. Let\'s look to the future. GEAUX SAINTS!!!

2000 season question.

They were slightly above average before Blake\'s injury. I think they went 3-5 in their last eight, but don\'t quote me on that one. 2-2 in the last four I\'m pretty sure of. That makes Haslett\'s teams 3-9 in the last month of regular seasons.

2000 season question.

The Saints went 5-3 in their last 8 games in 2000, 2-2 in December. Aaron Brooks was 3-2 as a starter once Blake went down, and of course 1-1 in the playoffs.
