Joe Morgan release no shock.

Instead, he found the time to jerk the media around who were there to ask POSITIVE questions. In his own mind he probably thought he was just being funny. But to me he was revealing his maturity level.

I left that day wondering just how many of these type of players were now in the Saints locker room and how much of that impacted the up and down season they were and still are having.

Last Sunday, I got my answer.

As for Morgan, it's simple. He didn't appreciate the multiple opportunities he was given and lost the privilege of being on the team.

Wow. I'm convinced now that after this season is all over we are going to hear a BUNCH more stuff like this, about the completely dysfunctional locker room that was going on behind the scenes. Something is not right with this team. It's a dumpster fire.

Remember when Loomis said the Saints were looking for athletes with character. Seems like they got confused and brought in a bunch of characters who thought they were athletes.

What a self-entitled punk. And the sad part is, he'll probably never understand why his behavior is unacceptable. Until he's like 35. Then he'll want to kick himself for throwing away his career.

I don't doubt coaches decision but it sounds to me that the reporter is just butt hurt because Morgan wouldn't talk to him. Before I opened the link and read it I had the impression he was talking **** about other players or something.

I wish things were different with him because I really liked his potential.

I still don't see how making an easy cut, benching a crap safety for a crappier safety, and possibly bring Hartley back are going to help us win games.

Sean is using another old Parcells trick. Everyone sees it so it won't mean much.

The more the years go by the more I appreciate the Patriots. It's a weak division, but they always get things worked out. Us...2006 NFCG, 2007 and 2008 - no. 2012 - no* 2014 - heck no. 2015 is looking craptastic at this point.

We need an O line that has power like 2009-2011, our D line forgot how to play, the LBs are slow and nonathletic, the secondary is a mess, and our drafts are a waste of time. Cooks did not light up the NFL. He looks like he will be solid, but we should not have reached for him over a CB or LB.

I think the ship has taken on too much water. Ingram will likely be gone next year too. It looks like Chicago is about to slap us around like school children. I'll still be rooting for the team as we go down in flames, but I do not see another SB for the Saints in the SP era.

Payton cut Morgan because Joe sucked, not as some jedi mind trick intended to motivate the rest of the team.

He called 10 players into his office and likely chewed their asses out and embarrassed them with game film. We're not gonna find better talent just sitting on the couch waiting for a call. Hopefully the discussions with Payton got their attention and they play up to their potential this week.

The best way for us to win games is for the players and coaches to get their heads out of their asses and start taking their careers seriously.
