Back-up RB's

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Who will be the Back-up for Duce? Will there be any RB's the Saint's might consider after the Jun 1 cuts. We need a good one! [Edited on 2/6/2002 by NavarreFloridaFan]...

What about the new Ricky Williams? I heard he was a great quick back. Anyone else hear anything about him?

I also hear that the \'new\' Ricky is a good scatback, but can he take the punishment of stepping in if needed?

I am submitting a new article on \"Little Ricky\" this week. I think you guys might be surprised as to how good he really could be for us.

What does anybody think about bringing in Jamal Anderson? Granted, he\'s had two major knee operations in as many years, but I think he\'d be a great addition to the squad. Does anyone know if this is even a possibility?

Saints | On the Prowl - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
9:48 PT: Updating an earlier story, Jeff Duncan reports for the Times Picayune the New Orleans Saints plan to bring in free agent Terry Allen (Ravens) for a visit Monday. They also had a visit planned for Ki-Jana Carter, but he signed with Green Bay last week. \"We just want to take a look at them and see if they can help us,\" Saints coach Jim Haslett said. \"We\'d like to add a veteran running back before training camp, if it\'s possible.\" The team reportedly has discussed a deal for Buffalo RB Shawn Bryson. The asking price for Bryson is believed to be a third-round draft pick.
