NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Sunday morning that the Falcons are optimistic Julio Jones will play, according to a source. Jones is also positive about his chances after missing last week's game with a hip injury.

Jones ran on Wednesday and again Saturday before traveling to New Orleans. The wideout's hip is in better shape than last week, per Breer.

The dynamic playmaker will have one final test on the field during pregame warmups before a decision is made.
