They're gonna win because anything that could go wrong this season has & will (except for an injury to brees) and i dont see why it will stop this week either...

We'll likely wind up with a WR, RB, or TE since we really need a LB, CB, and OL/DL.

TBH, I think Tampa has more grit than we do and they will likely beat us.

From NFL.com

11. New Orleans Saints
2014 record: 6-9 (.509)
Top three needs: CB, pass rusher, QB
Analysis: Despite a poor season, I think Drew Brees still has a good year left in him. But we're starting to see the end of the road and the Saints have to start grooming his successor. There's no one on the current roster behind Brees, whose 2015 cap number is more than $26 million. New Orleans, overall, is in salary cap hell. Bringing in an infusion of talent through the draft will be crucial in determining if this team will be able to compete in the coming years.
Top-rated seniors at positional needs: CB: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (Oregon), Kevin Johnson (Wake Forest), Byron Jones (UConn); Pass rusher: Vic Beasley (Clemson), Alvin Dupree (Kentucky), Owamagbe Odighizuwa (UCLA); QB: Sean Mannion (Oregon State), Garrett Grayson (Colorado State), Bryce Petty (Baylor)

We d not need a QB just someone to protect him.

This is the statement that stands out the most for me

"Despite a poor season, I think Drew Brees still has a good year left in him. But we're starting to see the end of the road"

If it is true this may be the reason why we don't see Drew fighting the media over their comments. Maybe he realizes his skill are not what they use to be. Then on the other hand this should pump him to want to win 1 more super bowl.

Personally I believe he has more than one more year. This was a horrible year for the entire team & coaching staff. However I do agree we need to draft a QB unless Sean believes Ryan Griffin can be that QB.

I think it's smart to start thinking about life after Drew but we can wait to draft them next year. This year would be too early to draft a replacement because with what I have seen Drew has a good 3-4 years left of above avg QB play.

I think it would be a waste to spend a pick on a QB. Unless they target someone in later rounds they think will be a strong prospect who falls it would take too long to benefit us. We have too many immediate needs and I don't think, despite our record, we are a team rebuilding. We are tweaking to get back to what we should be. Shore up our interior o-line to protect what we have, add another weapon to replace the lack of production we have with our current wide outs and upgrading our problems on defense have to be priority in both the draft and free agency.

I would be much more behind getting a guy who will hit the market like Jake Locker as our back up. He is injury prone, but as a back up it's not as much an issue. I have seen enough to think he is a capable starter in a pinch or if a 4-5 game stretch presents itself. And he could likely learn some things and still has upside to realize.
