Cleveland Browns Defensive Coordinator Foge Fazio resigned yesterday, saying of the loss to the Steelers, that he didn't want to play a prevent but rather wanted to keep pressing the Steelers but was overruled by head coach Butch Davis.

Fazio likes to pressure opposing quarterbacks, and apparently, there wasn't any talk of him "retiring" until after the loss. This is the defense that had a goal line stand against the Falcons of three straight plays inside the one at the end of their last regular season game to get into the playoffs.

We need to go get this guy. Supposedly, he is "retired" just like Michael Jordan "retired," or Bill Parcels "retired." If given the right opportunity, analysts say he is likely to take it. Go get him Saints!

I agree. Anyone with some experience can do a better job of motivating this defense than Venturi. Not to mention Rick has a poor coaching record (if anyone knows it(Northwestern and New Orleans), please post), but in his defense everytime he coached he was coaching in relief of a fired coach. Well, I hope there is some coaching change with the Saints- at least one!?

Failure is not an option ..............

Benson is too understanding as an owner and Loomis has not had the experience to deal with a coach like Haslett .....
