Really? I didn't see us beat the Falcons this year. What part of RECENTLY do some of you not understand? I'm not laughing about some falcon fan's meltdown when my team sucks just as bad right now. Does that clear it up for you?

They oughta' come up with some kind of reality TV show for Failclown fans ... something like Survivor where they put 'em all on island somewhere, or Big Brother/Real World where they lock 'em up in a house and watch 'em self-destruct, :rofl:.

Betcha' it'd be bigger than Real Housewives, :D.

Well, despite all that, they still finished behind ya', so there is wiggle room to gloat, but everyone is entitled to be a fan in their own way so I'm not going to necessarily disagree with your point.

Whoa man...this thread was started to just get a chuckle. Mainly for the "mike stiff" and the mob part. I appreciate your opinion but you dont see saints fans on tv melting like that.

I understood the point of why you posted that. I merely said I don't think it's funny right now, because while these falcon fans are melting down, we couldn't even beat their team. If somebody else thinks it's funny, that's terrific. I wasn't bashing anyone for laughing. I just kinda don't care about what their fans are doing right now.

Then you have wise guys that want to get smart with me over a point that clearly went over their heads. We suck right now. I'm not comparing overall resume's (though after the superbowl, there hasn't been a whole lot of difference). The undeniable fact is that right now, we blow.

I'm not just talking about this season. The amount of success we've had since winning the superbowl has been pretty even with them, with the Saints holding a slim edge in playoff victories. The only real bragging right we had was that, up until this season, we were beating them. And now we got swept by them. The only reason I specifically brought up the fact that we didn't beat them this season is because you, for whatever reason, thought that us winning a road playoff game last year gave us some kind of infinite protection from all other failures. Or at least that was the impression your comment gave me. I don't feel the need to be any more definitive than that. It was pretty obvious from the beginning.
