Here is the big hope:
"However, the source added, there are looming changes to the defensive coaching staff as well as personnel on that side of the ball. Within the past few days the Saints already have parted ways with three assistants, longtime tight ends coach Terry Malone, receivers coach Henry Ellard and assistant secondary coach Andre Curtis."

I assumed because he said more changes coming to the staff and personnel. Thats gotta mean players right?

I think PRob, White, Deaderick, Hawthorne, Bunkley, Haralson, and a few others might want to polish up their resumes.

I hope they let him have input as to whom he needs to improve this defense. I'm not sure PRob, White, and Deaderick are gone...the others are a toss up as well. I like Haralson in the running game but he is a huge liability if he has to cover anyone. Hawthorne....well he was very inconsistent and seems slow. We have to get faster on all levels of the D.

An OLB and a defensive end because our safeties have to double duty as linebackers because of weak line and linebacker play. Scheme or no, we play like that to cover up a weakness.

Also 1 more "for real" CB. Now, how will Loomis fit all that along with key replacements on the o-line into 1 off-season will be a mystery and require super shuffling.
