Randy Moss should be suspended

Randy Moss just pretended to take off his pants, and rubbed his booty-crack up and down the Packer goalpost.
I can't wait to hear some people defend him.
Truly disgusting.
If I'm Tags, I suspend him for the remainder of the post-season.

Damn, I missed it. That\'s why Joe Buck said it was classless.

They MIGHT fine him, but I doubt they\'ll do even that. They critize him for leaving early last week and then give him props all game long. He\'s talented, but he ain\'t much else -- and that\'s sad.

That dude is a little kid playing a man\'s sport. He\'s a low down piece of ****, and I wouldn\'t #### on him if he were on fire.

Had to edit, didn\'t want to completely stoop to his level.

I wish the Saints would make a trade for Randy Moss.

If Horn can pull a cell phone out.

Ray Lewis can be involved in a MURDER!!

Jamal Lewis can sell drugs.

Brett Farve being a drug addict.

Shall I go on?

I can live with Moss.

Some of you guys act like Moss is a criminal!!

Please!!

You guys do follow professional sports, right?

Barry Bonds?
Ray Lewis?
Jason Giambi?

Man, the list is endless. And Randy Moss is way down on that list of despicable characters!!

I bet most of you guys would take Ray Lewis in a second.

It\'s not character some of you are worried about. Some of just don\'t like Randy\'s personality!!

You forgot to add in your lists of pro Moss/ anti everyone else post

Didn\'t Moss hit a cop with his car?..and get busted for possesion of narcotics?...He\'s no patron Saint, and he\'s not misunderstood..

Don\'t you also remember how when we played them in the playoffs a few years back, how he was dancing and gloating on the sideline during that game?..This isn\'t some new thing he\'s doing..he\'s always been an arrogant loudmouth...why on earth would anyone try to defend this morons behavior?

I wouldn\'t invite to my house, but I like watching him play.

If they could just kennel him in the offseason and keep him locked in a closet in the stadium Monday-Saturday during the season he might be OK.

I guess there is just distaste for Moss. I did not see Moss \"rub his booty crack up and down the post.\" Sorry. Now if he were a Saint, he would be fined fitty million and suspended for two years.

If his act was so classless, then it is even more classless to continue to show it, one would think. I\'ve seen TV commercial worst than what Moss did.

So if he turned around and started humping the goal post, you\'d be OK with it?
Billy, he was wiping his plumbers crack up and down the freaking goal post and you think WE should lighten up?
Thats kinda sad. :(

Yeah, it was classless. But remember, this is the league that let\'s Leonard Little keep playing after he killed someone because he chose to drive drunk, got another DUI after that, and he\'s in the playoffs and making millions. The NFL throws a fit about the whole Desperate Houswives MNF thing, but you watch, Randy Moss won\'t be suspended, the league won\'t take him to task, and if the Vikes advance any further in the playoffs, you\'ll see a piece about Moss\'s maturity this year and how it helped his team. His character was crap in college, it was crap his rookie year, and it\'s crap now. But as long as he keeps putting up numbers and gives us highlights, the league will keep promoting him as one of it\'s stars. I love football, love the Saints, but sometimes I really can\'t stand the NFL. But, I\'ll keep watching cause I\'m hooked on this DAMN SPORT!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Here\'s what makes me kinda sad. Moss does something vile and disgusting and many justify it by pointing out other things that were tolerated or ignored in the past. Just because it wasn\'t punished properly in the past doesn\'t mean it should continue to be tolerated.
Its called incremental immorality. Only push the envelope a little each time and it will be accepted. What is tolerated now will eventually be celebrated.
If he had done that 20 years ago someone would have taken his head off.
At least Desperate Housewives airs after primetime, and everyone knows what to expect. Perhaps football should be moved out of primetime also.

i think the diffrence between moss and some of the guys u noted is that he continues to be an idiot. im not defending what ray lewis did but to me he seems to have GROWN UP, LEARNED A LESSON. theese r not words u can ever use with randy moss. i dont know what barry bonds has done outside of the steroids which is bad but i think he taints himself in the long run with that. moss continues to be an a-hole. didnt he have sevral problems in college. isnt that why so many people passed on drafting him. didnt he have an assault charge in college for beating a woman. i might be wrong on that but i thought he did. i know he had several problems. jamal lewis same thing. he did that when he was young has stayed out of trouble and learned a lesson.

here in lies the problem with moss. he hits a cop with his car because noone tells him what to do. even if his car was only going 10 miles per hour if one of us do that were locked up. not just over night. the kid is a constant problem on and off the field. he never learns and is a complete a-hole

Amen Danno - I\'m behind you 100%.

Likewise, I amazingly agree with SF. Last week he was a goat, but all last night he was a team player for growing a freaking afro. Whatever.

I\'ve said it before and I\'ll say it again. The guy has the talent to be the best that ever played by far, and the attitude and maturity of a child. Give me Joe Horn over him any day.

There\'s a reason the truly good teams in the league don\'t have any ME ME guys on their teams, except maybe Philly with TO. Sure they have stars, but not selfish stars. The Patties, Colts, Steelers... no me first kind of players. Carolina last year... It just goes to show.

WhoDat!!

After watching the many interviews with Terrell Owens, I\'ve changed my opinion of him. This is a guy who is a \"class clown\" type who gets fun out of what he does and laughs at both himself and situations. The difference between Owens and Moss (add Brooks, Vick, Sullivan, others) is that Owens wants to win and have fun doing it. He does some outrageous things, but not obscene things nor destructive things. He apparently is a pretty clean living kind of a guy, with no off field run ins with either the law or fans.

I was appalled at the \"sharpie\" thing, but after listening to Owens, it makes sense that he did this. He likes to laugh and have a good time. There is a vast difference between his behavior and that of Moss.

I disagree that Moss should be suspended, I believe that he should be banned from the game. His behavior now will be aired on TV for all the youth to see, and no matter what the talking heads say, this will be a model for the youth. Much of what is wrong with the NFL is embodied in Randy Moss. Talent aside, he is not a \"professional\" in any arena.

Moss didn\'t atually pull his pants down, you know?

..personally, I thought it was funny..

...ome on! he did it to people wearing foam swiss cheese slabs on their heads!!

.. I am more down on the Packers for letting him do it and not retaliating... I\'d take the 15 yard penalty and ejection any day...

Yea, I know.

Just wondering where you\'d draw the line?

I think many are missing the point. He didn\'t just pretend to moon the crowd, he backed up to the goal post and rubbed his plumbers crack up and down the post, implying he was wiping his rear-end with the packer goal post as tilet paper.
THAT was the vile and disgusting part. It was much more than just a simple moon.

I don\'t know about all of you ,but what he did basically was tell all the fans to kiss his A**. He is classless and definately not a team player. I guess we define \"entertainment\" differently. Rubbing your behind on a goalpost falls into the crude, classless, crass variety of burlesque. Maybe that is alright at bachelors parties, frat gigs, and army stand downs, but where there are public fixtures where children are allowed, the bar is set a bit higher.

Moss is an abberation. He is a felon who has been allowed to run free because he can catch a football. He has the manners and class of a field hand. He has no ability to understand any other activities that do not acrue to himself and his base, immature, unclutured instincts. In other words, he\'s a scumbag, first class.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

HE HAS GREAT \"STATS.\"

What would really be funny would be to see Tagliabue totally ban Moss from football. That would sort of hit the \"refresh\" button on the NFL. The other thing that would be funny would have been to see the Green Bay fans surge out of the stands and hang Moss from the goal posts from his nappy \'fro!!!

If this is true, then the whole thing is a lot more understandable, since the Vikings did lose there earlier in the season. I think Moss is a tremendous athlete, but I could do without all of his antics. You have to admit, however, that nowadays it seems like they all are involved in a game of one-upsmanship...seeing who can do the most outrageous thing. These guys are professional athletes, and their egos are enormous.

When Tony Dungy thought it was funny because of what the Green Bay fans do to road teams when they leave, it makes sense. The nation witnessed a joke between Moss and the fans who\'d been taunting and jeering him the last three hours. And you know what? Now that I know the joke, it was actually pretty funny.

Does that make Moss any less classless? Not at all. Somewhere between the outrage and the hiny rub is a man who needs to grow up and a nation that needs to lighten up.

The sad part is, he caught that pass on a bum ankle, playing hurt, and playing tough. If he lets the celebration go as a high five, maybe someone would\'ve noticed that he played with heart. Instead it\'s another week hearing about his antics, which, when put in perspective of the Green Bay fans via Tony frickin\' Dungy, really don\'t seem that bad.

Now then, who else wishes it\'d been our 91, 93, and 94 wearing Brett Favre out? Gah.

The real question is why do you watch football? To see a competitive game with great athletes or to see who can do the best dance, offensive gesture or cheapest shot. Foot ball is just as entertaining when a great play is made by catch, run or defensive stop. What game would you want to bring your family to or watch, the randy moss ass rub, or the last drive under a minute game, and which would be more enjoyable?

I don\'t go to basketball games or take my family there becasue of the obscene language and the constant \" I got fouled\".

When a black man moons hundreds of white fans, that\'s OK. When a white actress pretends to snare a prominent black WR, that\'s so terrible he speaks out about it and makes it about race. OK Tony.
