I don't think anybody is here trying to sing Cadet's praises as a great player, but at the very least he's a pretty solid kick returner (26.6 ypa career average) who can fill in at the PT pass-catching role and makes a very small salary. Those are the kinds of guys you need to fill out the bottom of a roster.
Danno likes this.

Seems every post you make is borderline ridiculous, if not outright ridiculous. I would say Cadet's success rate on the field far outstrips your own on the message board. Maybe you should cut yourself.
If you can read feel free to look at my reply to Danno.

Cadet fumbles once in every 20 touches. You're looking foolish, and I don't even need to contribute to that.

Also Danno, feel free to look up 'exaggeration'.

I guess we should sign a back good enough to be a starter for starter money, put him 4th on the depth chart and hope he plays special teams.

Then everyone would be complaining he doesn't get enough carries...

There may be a middle ground in this

He is serviceable but easily replaceable
Is he good enough to make the step up the roster and be the third man if Ingram goes?

Not IMO he isnt and if he isnt a better player should be found from the FA/UDFA?late pick backs that will be there.

Actually, 108 divided by 3 is 36, by my count. Talk about looking foolish, you can't even do basic math.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean he can't be upgraded. But we should keep him until we have something better.

Your looking at 1 season, while I'm looking at his career and pre-season combination.

No, I'm looking at all 3 seasons, and preseason doesn't count because preseason is bull**** and everybody knows that. But really, who cares, we're talking about the 45th guy on the roster or something. If you want to go on downing the Saints about anything and everything they do, please do. Just don't be jumping on the bandwagon and saying everything's peachy next year when things are going better.

The overreaction to one bad season on this board would be hilarious, if I had a higher tolerance for complete and total stupidity.

I think we have something better in Saunders.

PT should be the guy on 3rd down ... imo.
