Would Saints Pull an END-AROUND on Rob Ryan?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Funny... After the 2013 season, I heard many being worried that Ryan could be offered a HC position. Now it's off with everyone's heads, and let's get these group of coaches. Coaches don't make plays. Coaches don't cover the field ...

Funny...
After the 2013 season, I heard many being worried that Ryan could be offered a HC position.

Now it's off with everyone's heads, and let's get these group of coaches.

Coaches don't make plays. Coaches don't cover the field sideline to sideline.

If anyone thinks Fangio would come in and make Patrick Willis, Aldon Smith, and NaVorro Bowman out of Jr. Galette, Curtis Lofton, and Parys haralson, you've got another thing coming. The Saints do not have the talent on defense, and last year they didn't have the brains either.

Of all the players on the Saints defense, there is Keenan Lewis, then everyone else. And aside from Vaccaro (jury still out) and Jordan (can't do it alone), everyone else is nothing more than a journeyman in the NFL.

+1. Scott is among the best at evaluating "talent". He will get the train back on the track up in D.C.

I would love to get Vic in here but if he has the same positional coaches I bet we don't improve much. That being said if we go into next season with the same position coaches on defense Ill expect another 8-8 type performance.

Payton and Mickey said there would be major changes... but what's changed? Every ****ty defensive position coach is still hanging around.
if it is the assistants then why were we successful rob's first year?

So why does that matter to the Saints, you ask? Quite simply, it matters because now you have two of the very top defensive assistants / minds in the entire NFL, now seeking a new landing spot.

And as HORRID as the New Orleans Saints defense performed under Rob Ryan last year, bringing in either (or both) former 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and secondary coach Ed Donatell would be a HUGE upgrade for the Saints.

Won't happen, we prefer ****ty d-cords that can't get it done. Another frigan season of ****ing rob ryan, we are **** next year keeping that log of ****. Should hve never hired him, biggest frigan moronic decision ever. Hated the hiring when it happened, hate it more we are keeping him. Either or both of these guys would be frigan fantastic, wont happen, and if SP doesn't get his head out of his ass he will be gone eventually too.

Did you hate it when we had the 4th best defense 2 seasons ago? Or were you cheering your ass off like the rest of us?!

Of course I did, and I ate the crow for it, but now looks like I was right. one year wonder. We were pathetic, I mean pathetic last year as a defense. Whether you want to hear it or not, outside of his first season here he has never really been successful, boss. I wish he had been. Never mind eating the crow when it is to the teams benefit, but he sucks

Of course not, but that has nothing to with him failing. That type of silly idea almost makes it as if we can't complain at all. I am not skilled to be a medical doctor either, but if my doctor keeps from making me better I am not going to keep going back to him.

Hey, if he's our d-cord next season I am hoping I eat tons of crow and I will be his biggest supporter, but if we blow ass again I am going to be pissed.
