this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; There is nothing like veteran leadership, and sure hands... Something we missed all last season.... Meacham will be gone so a spot will definitely open up for a veteran to step in... Toon isn't a for sure in my eyes, ...

There is nothing like veteran leadership, and sure hands... Something we missed all last season.... Meacham will be gone so a spot will definitely open up for a veteran to step in... Toon isn't a for sure in my eyes, Cooks could use a veteran to show him how to run crisper routes not take the shots that get you injured. And it won't be as expensive as his previous contracts with the team... I don't see how you don't at least kick the tires....
