What's the word on TE Zach Hilton. He looked like a beast in the few pre-season games I have seen him in. Seems like they would give him a shot to push Boo for some time. Just curious. I don't really know at all what kind of progress he has made.

I want to think this guy has the same potential as Jason Witten. How would I know that if he is not on the field. I don\'t know why I think he is better than Boo, just a gut feeling. Maybe he is in the same boat as Devery (can\'t learn the plays) but no one is talking about him. STRANGE

Zach\'s biggest obstacle to playing time is we only activate 3 TE\'s on game day.

Hall-Terrific ST player, and one of the best blocking TE\'s in the game
Boo/Conwell-Been healthy all year, no need to de-activate.

Zach will get his chance. Especially if we let Conwell or Boo leave.

What\'s so STRANGE about the lack of talk about a third or fourth string T.E.?...

What\'s strange is Conwell, Hall and Boo scares no body. How many TDs between the three? Hall is supose to be a great blocker, Conwell has been, Boo drops too many balls. Then there is Hilton, 268, 6\'8, soft hands and good speed not being used. That\'s what is strange, even if he was a twenty round pick not using him is strange especially in the Red Zone.

zach isnt used b/c he cant block real good yet. hes 6\'8 frame allows defenders to get underneath him and drive him backwards. if he was in on only pass plays, it would be obvious we were passing.

Not to mention..The last place we need an unexperienced rookie to play would be in the Redzone...

Here\'s a suggestion. If Hilton\'s blocking is as poor as they say it is, then maybe they should set him up in the slot. I\'ve seen KC do this with Gonzalez, the Chargers with Gates, and the Giants with Shockey. If he has good receiving ability it would be very hard to defend a 6\' 8\" receiver going over the middle. If his talents are limited, at least use the talents he has to the fullest. Just my opinion.
