Great -- Atkins gets fired first. Unless it wasa Atkins decision to take away the FB then this is pure BS. They are blaming him for Deuce's lack of production -- saying that it was all because of Deuce being out of shape. Seems like Haz is desperately trying to make it look like he is shaking things up without firing is buddies who deserve it more.

Hmm, he seemed to do a very good job with the rookie Karney, and the back-up Stecker.

I was offended at his use of the race-card, he should have just used the stupidity-card. But he\'s one of the meaningless position coaches to fall on the sword. I hope the O-line coach and the LB coach to get it next. But since they probably deserve it their jobs may be safe.

Just because they fired someone doesn\'t mean they are putting blame on that person. They just want to go in a different direction. Actually, the OC technically is the first to be let go. They said he is free to talk to whomever and they won\'t be retaining his servies.
