Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; They manned him up in Seattle, delayed his release and took him out of the game. They are expecting the same from others, they pulled the covers off of JG....

Just think; if we get two pro-bowl players in the first! Or even 2 first year starters

Yeah, was just reading some myself and it seems the majority are not happy about giving up Unger and this years 1st.

You don't really think that Sean Payton isn't in the middle of and completely onboard with every trade or draft pick that happens with this team?

In Jimmy's defense there are only a few teams capable of doing that. Seattle was one of the very few.

Really? You and I must have been watching completely different games at the center position.

Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks

I know some (not just this site)find it hard to accept this trade, but I think it was a very team first move. I'm gonna miss Graham, but I would rather give up 1 superstar to gain 2-4 good players that can contribute and keep us in the playoffs consistently than keep that one superstar who's basically declining in production because of injuries and his QB can't stay upright. Look around the league...alot of teams are releasing and trading top players. This happens every offseason, this off season seems to be more extreme than others. Doing this keeps teams competitive. It's gonna be nice next offseason to have that extra cushion with the cap,and just that alone makes the trade easier to swallow.
