The newest culprit is new linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, whose cap number will almost certainly be sliced dramatically the moment he's placed on the salary rolls

Evans is a restructure IMO. unless the trade rumors to Buffalo from earlier is still on the table but i doubt the saints would be that crazy. or would they?

trade Evans for an Evan

get LG Evan Mathis from the Eagles

that 5+ mill in cap savings right there

now we need a RG instead of a LG

I see Jordan signing a long term deal Probably 4 yr 20 million range. That would free up some of his this year. Ellerbe has already agreed to take one. Evans should be next. Brees should but I doubt it's coming.

Cant see Cam agreeing to $5ml a year.
He will get far bigger offers in FA

If they give him more so be it. Not worth any more in my book. 7.5 sacks last year. The lowest since he became a starter.

Cam has to prove that he can be consistent. Way too many plays off. GB game was the only game I saw him being violent and throwing people around. If he can't do that on regular basis then we should move on.
