Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee

Both ran in the 4.6 range. They might be good in the late rounds or even UDFA...maybe a Pierre Thomas clone in Magee.

hilliard was lightly used in his career at lsu. I think he would be a awesome udfa sign. the guy is a slasher type with eyes looking for a crease, we need to replace and rebuild our practice squad?

I am very high on Kenny Hilliard. People should keep in mind that this guy has one of the best yards per carry in LSU history. This is even more impressive when you consider that he often carried the ball on 3rd and short or near the goaline. Only Kevin Faulk(5.6) and Jeremy Hill(6.1) were better than Hilliard(5.1). Stevan Ridley who recently ran for over 1200yds for the Pats had like a 4.6ypc at LSU and their measurables are very similar but Hilliard is a more fluid athlete. Hilliard runs very low to the ground and is great at taking a hit and keeping his balance. Les Miles said he was the hardest hitting running back on the team and whenever he heard a thunderous collision at practice, he knew it was Hilliard. He is the leading rusher in Louisiana High School Football history. Over Leonard Fournette and Jeremy Hill. At the very least, he is an outstanding short yardage back. He has great hands, is a good blocker and has a great attitude. He never complained when Hill or Fournette were featured over him. He even played fullback whenever he was asked. He had only 199 carries at LSU so he has plenty tread left. I'm praying he ends up on our roster somehow. Hilliard played behind Hill in 2012 and 2013, who had like 1500+ all purpose yds for the Bengals this year and Fournette in 2014, who has a better body than Adrian Peterson. He runs very hard and always gets positive yardage. If I have to watch Kenny "HILLIARD" light it up for somebody else, it'll break my heart.

Re: Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee

Magee has always impressed me as a solid all around player. i probably over rate the ability to actually block and pick up a blitz over the wiliness to. but that is just me. in a pass happy offense i put the same amount of weight as i do catching the ball. we pay drew way too much money not to is my logic

my three main RB on my draft board are
Jeremy Langford
David Johnson
Terrance Magee

after that it appears to be a bunch of back with the "willingness to block and show good effort trying" types

I say Hilliard may be worthy of a 7th round pick. I can see a scenario where he could play the short yardage downs, and be the main ball handler late in 4th quarters. Think about it, Ingram, Spiller, and Robinson beating up on teams for most of a game, then Hilliard coming in late with fresh legs and just putting the final whooping on a team. Yeah, I like it!!!
