After a year of digging into the college game for the first time, we’re now beginning to unveil our findings. As you’ll have seen we’ve started to bring you some content including player profiles, rankings, and some interesting Signature Stats from each position.

After Matt Claassen’s looks at the running back position yesterday (run game and pass game), today we’re going to be looking at the various Signature Stats that go along with the wide receivers.

As always, it’s important to note that stats don’t always tell the whole story, but these go a little deeper than regular stats, and make for some interesting reading. In this first part we’ll look at Yards Per Route Run and Drop Rate while the next installment later today will highlight performances on deep passes and from WRs lined up in the slot.

Re: Wide Receivers

Impressive that Dorsett only has one drop in his season's productivity...

Re: Wide Receivers

at 13 i could live with Parker
Agholor in 2?
Tippet is a solid option in 3 plus he plays CB as well.
Walker i can not wait to see were he goes in the draft. 3? 4? 5? i am thinking 4

Re: Wide Receivers

Not impressed with Parker's level of competition...

And even though Amari wasn't the first, featured option in his respective offense, he had twice as many targets when compared to Parker...

Nelson Agholor won't be an "X" receiver, but he's probably the most polished or 'pro-ready' of that group...

That only one drop by Dorsett and his ability to track the ball in the air as well as he does, well, I can see why Payton is so enamored with him...

But, the procrastination of meeting the needs on defense now far outweigh picking up yet another quality receiver...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

It's been said here before..........Payton won't be able to stop himself from getting a shiny new toy.

Re: Wide Receivers

gotta stop with all the tiny mighty mouse players already WR. Drew is not 6'4". we need height with hands.
