Son of Dome Patrol legend Pat Swilling to work out with New Orleans Saints

The son of New Orleans Saints legend Pat Swilling is reportedly scheduled to work out with the team. Patrick Swilling Jr. played college basketball at the University of Tulsa.

He’ll be trying out at wide receiver and tight end as the second former college basketball player to do so this week alongside Sydeney Coleman of Xavier University.

investigation had become too traumatic."

So someone rapes you, you make a statement, then all of a sudden it's whatever no big deal. Ok.

Its not uncommon at all for women who have been raped to be so traumatized by the process to simply want to just make it stop and live on.

Sad, but understandable. Not every rape victim is willing to go through the cruel and brutal process required to see justice served. And frankly I can't condemn them for it.

Meanwhile millions adore the rapist because he has freaking awesome sports skills.

I wanna puke.

I'm a certified sexual assault victim's advocate and have never seen someone make a statement and then just drop it and say whatever. I've never experienced it. I'm sure it happens but it's very uncommon from my vantage point. Women are seldom held accountable for making false charges from what I have experienced either. One case, she admitted lying, ruined a guy's life and nothing was done to her legally. She should have been in prison. It's another side of it that nobody wants to examine and it happens everyday but is seldom exposed.

Duke Lacrosse:

"Mangum's accusations against the players were eventually thrown out, though prosecutors didn't file charges against her, explaining that she "may actually believe" she was raped."

She is now in prison for murdering her boyfriend.
