I took tomorrow off as my daughter is in town from school and I thought I'd need a recovery if we drafted Beasley and Anthony...

Am amped we countered with Peat with Beasley going to the Falcons...

With Bud Dupree still available at 13, I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with Peat. I mean the guy is an OT, period, a one trick pony. Not to mention at 6'7", a move inside to Guard would, in my opinion be disastrous. Drew has enough trouble seeing over the line now, imagine how hard it would be for him to see over a 6'7" guard? Just don't see it, no pun intended. Add to that, the fact that we do very well picking O-Linemen in later rounds like 4-6. In addition to that, with your highest pick, you NEED to get IMMEDIATE IMPACT PLAYERS or STARTERS. Do you honestly believe this guy is going to be a day 1 starter? Personally I'm disappointed with this pick, but SP & Loomis do this every year so oh well.

I hear 13 would have been Shelton if Cleveland didn't grab him.

Peat is growing on me. It will take time...

I do; I believe he beats out Strief on the right side. More athletic and better suited to screening, which works great with Cooks and Spiller on the field...
