Re: Potential R7/UDFA

One notable player from the pro day was Markus Pierce-Brewster (6-foot-4 1/8, 238 pounds), an outside linebacker. Pierce-Brewster ran the 40-yard dash in 4.70 and 4.74 seconds. He had a 29 1/2-inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump. He ran the 3-cone drill in 7.66 and the short shuttle in 4.48. And he had 16 reps in the bench press.

One player is a free-agent possibility for a team following the 2015 NFL Draft.

Linebacker Stephon Sanders (6-foot-2 1/4, 254 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds with the wind and 5.02 seconds against the wind. He had a 30 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-8 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.43 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.25 seconds. Sanders had a good positional workout.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

As undrafted FA, Collins can sign 3-year deal, not 4-yr as drafted, take advantage of high RFA tender. Could equal 4-yr cash of 2nd rounder.

Saints sign UTSA DT Ashaad Mabry

Defensive tackle Ashaad Mabry (6-foot-2 1/2, 322 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 5.33 and 5.37 seconds. He had a 22 1/2-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-3 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 5.18 seconds and the three-cone drill in 8.35 seconds. He also performed 26 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Mabry had a good workout, and is described as having very good quickness for a guy of his size. He is a potential free-agent pickup for a team following the conclusion of the 2015 NFL Draft.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: Potential R7/UDFA

Austin Hill Signed

OVERVIEW
2014: Played in 14 games. Recorded 49 catches for 635 yards and four touchdowns. 2013: Missed season with a knee injury. 2012: Played in 13 games and made 12 starts. He was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award (given to college football's top receiver) and an All-Pac-12 second-team selection after posting 1,364 yards receiving (second in Pac-12). 2011: Played in 10 games and started one. 2010: Redshirted.

PRO DAY RESULTS
40-yard dash: 4.62 and 4.57 seconds
Vertical jump: 36 1/2 inches
Broad jump: 10 feet, 9 inches
20-yard short shuttle: 4.03 seconds
Three-cone drill: 6.65 seconds

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS Big and physical. Plays to his size. Runs with attitude after the catch and can take weaker cornerbacks for a ride. Puts defenders on his hip and uses his body to shield them. Good chance lateral quickness improves as he continues to trust his recovery from injury. Dedicated weight-room worker. Possesses strong hands and catching the ball comes easily for him. Effective blocker who can help spring big runs. His 2012 film shows very effective play from the slot.

WEAKNESSES Suffered ACL injury that knocked him out for all of 2013. Is noticeably slower since his injury. Still hasn't recovered to his pre-injury form. Personnel men question his vertical speed. Has to gear down to get into his breaks and is inconsistent at getting separation at the top of his route. Lacks suddenness and can be robotic as a route-runner.

DRAFT PROJECTION Round 7 or priority free agent

NFL COMPARISON Austin Pettis

BOTTOM LINE Based on the tape, it's hard to imagine Hill will be able to run a time that will make scouts happy. However, he's a tough blocker and a reliable, big target who can block in the running game. Hill's medicals will be scrutinized, but if healthy, he could use his big frame to muscle smaller slot corners

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

"Underrated SR prospect on CBSSportsNet right now - North Texas RT Cyril Lemon. Heady veteran with traits that translate well to the pros," Brugler tweeted. Lemon entered his senior campaign with the lofty designation of being the only FBS player to start every game of his collegiate career and be named All-Conference three straight years. Fri,

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS At his best down the field. Adequate deep speed with good concentration and ball tracking. Doesn't let defenders crowd him against sideline downfield. Creates space for himself and is able to adjust to the ball and finish tough catches. High-point catcher with good hand strength. Has some shiftiness to his game after the catch and is able to create yardage with bouncy short-area quickness. Consistently productive. Went for more than 100 yards receiving and at least one touchdown in eight of his first nine games in 2014.

WEAKNESSES Would like to see more focus to pluck and secure quickly on short throws. Shows tightness in hips, leading to upright routes and a lack of bend into breaks. Slow to unlock and accelerate when making stop-and-start cuts and his speed cuts are rounded and drifting. Too "gradual" into his breaks, allowing defenders time to react and close distance. Won't create as much separation underneath through his routes as desired.

DRAFT PROJECTION Priority free agent

BOTTOM LINE Frequently targeted, system receiver who had three straight seasons with more than 1,000 yards receiving, including 2014, with 1,551 yards and 15 touchdowns. Harris has average height for an outside receiver, but an above-average skill set when the ball is in the air. While his ability to gain yards after the catch is solid, he doesn't appear to have the athletic ability and acceleration out of his cuts to get open consistently in the NFL.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!
