A 6-foot-5, 302-pound native of Diboll, Texas, Johnson was a four-year starter for the Mean Green. Johnson was a participant at the New York Jets minicamp last week but did not sign with the team. The Saints had 89 players on their 90-man roster entering this weekend's minicamp. Any additional signings would require a currently signed player to be cut. We also cut Stephon Sanders, LB. Not a good year to try to make this team as a UDFA at LB |

Armstead has been injured. There's some camp bodies and street FA's lining up at LG. The C has been injured. Evans is another year older. Strief is another year older and has never been anything above solid. All hands on deck.
