Saints RE Junior Galette is dealing with a pectoral injury, and could require surgery.
Galette suffered the injury "recently." If he undergoes surgery for a torn pec, he'd be sidelined in the neighborhood of 5-6 months. That means he would likely begin the year on the reserve/PUP list, missing a minimum of six games, and potentially many more. Galette's 10 sacks led the Saints last season. OK. More playing time for Edebali and other young guys. Liked what I saw last season from him. Underrated athleticism and non stop motor. |
