“Yeah, there are a handful of things,” Payton said. “You get into the offseason and you look at route combinations, things you want to do versus pressure, things you want to do in the (shot)gun, package plays, so as you go through the offseason and you research.”

“You are always trying to stay on top of what maybe’s trending and really, how does it fit to your own roster,” Payton added.

IMO while the offensive game plan doesn't need a complete "overhaul", it could definitely use some more juice. Some different plays, maybe get some of that scary Payton mojo back.

To be honest, I'm more worried about the defense.

Having a solid O line (like in 09) will go a long way towards making our plays look better.

I think we are limited by what we can do because of our Oline. Hopefully that won't be the case this year and we can pen the playbook up again.

Absolutely. That is the only thing that has changed, oline play. Can't go deep when Drew cannot step into throws.
