If we hadn't busted up the Dome Patrol he would be in the Hall of Fame.

I always thought Pat was the heart and soul of the saints Dome Patrol.

Mora sold out the saints players, coaches and the fans.

1991 Dom Capers getting away at the time was a huge story in new orleans. Most fans understood and saw the value he had for the team and an uproar could be heard to keep him. there was an under lined story to be heard the loss was tied to Mora keeping Carl Smith instead. which as it turns out was Mora's skate goat the whole time Mora was here. that dude got thrown under the bus every sunday for years.

Enter in Jim L. Mora in 1992. Not to be confused with head coach Jim E. Mora. Getting the picture here?

1994 was Steve Sidwell final year and when he left in 1995 it was all but over for many of us.

By this point the defense was almost gutted and offense was still floundering.

Mora in 4 short years took a promising super bowl team and trash it.

Mora was an ego manic cancer that destroyed any chance of a super bowl run for the saints and their fans.

Pat is but one of a few players Mora trashed and may have cost them the HOF.

That whole unit deserved better.

Lightning-quick out of Georgia Tech; really wanted another Wrambling Wrecker in Jerry Attaochu last draft...

He's almost an identical style player and if we'd been really committed to a 3-4 defense like we had in the Dome Patrol, we'd drafted Attaochu last season...
