Should Emmitt Smith be retiring this week as reports have said today,
I think it is time for him to retire, he has really nothing more to play for, nothing to prove, I'm sure that the Cowboys will give him a one day contract to let him retire a Cowboy which makes all the sense in the world, Jerry Rice should retire with him, Jerry really really needs to retire

which in my opinion is terrible. the guy hasnt had a good season in some years. he needs to go and stop trying to make sure his record is intact for long after he goes. leave why your on top. well he has no hope for that so damn just leave before you make a fool of yourself

Why should Emmitt retire?

Curtis Martin..and old dog too..was leading the League in rushing for a while this year..and Emmitt had a pretty darn good year his own self...Behind a very spotty Cardinals Line...

If he feels like he can play..he will play..He\'s a real deal kind of Player...and a Legend....

Rice is still playing well..he has a Legendary work ethic..and, furthermore, who wouldn\'t want a guy of his caliber and leadership ability, and experience on thier team?

Both should stay if they feel they can play more...
